Please help us in welcoming Kelly to the shop!! She will be playing the role of shop manager and (junior) artist. She’s all set up and her beautiful artwork is on display throughout the shop.

Kelly will be working in tandem with Tara on rebranding and rebuilding the shop!! Yes!! We have a full rebrand coming up! So keep watching for updates!! Kelly will also working on general shop upkeep as well!!!

A little bit about Kelly: 

Although relatively new to the tattooing world, Kelly is a 20 year veteran in the Art world. She earned an associates degree in graphic design from Villa Maria College and a bachelor's degree in drawing and painting from SUNY Fredonia. Kelly spent her first six years out of art school in health care, learning about infection control and behavior management, eventually teaching monthly art classes there and becoming certified as a memories in the making facilitator. Memories in the making is a wonderful program that allows facilitators to create art with patients afflicted with severe dementia, unlocking trapped memories.

She then went on to teach painting at a local studio and eventually started working making licensed art for new york city based companies like Viacom, Nickelodeon, and Mtv. Kelly has had many shows locally including a solo show at Good Charamel Records sponsored by Music is Art. Kelly is a long time contributor to music is art and has been participating in the annual festival for over 10 years.

In her free time, Kelly volunteers as a death doula for anyone who needs it and she takes pride in being an auntie to her 5 year old niece freya! Kelly has been vegan for 15 years and loves animals. She is a fur mom to two kitties-Echo and Arcana.
